Culver Engineering Society (CES) was proposed to help potential and current engineering students navigate the engineering programs at Culver Academies. Culver's engineering course offerings have grown to include EG500 (IT Applications of Engineering I), EG700 (IT Applications of Engineering II), and the EG800-2T Honors Seminar, yet students exploring engineering as a career path have had limited dedicated resources for projects, mentorship, and competition.
CES was founded to close that gap: a student-led club where anyone curious about engineering can find community, mentorship, and hands-on opportunities, whether or not they've already decided on the path.
To empower Culver engineers through peer mentorship, university and industry networking, and competition.
To establish an engineering club that produces Culver graduates fully prepared for top university engineering programs, and to raise Culver's profile in regional and national STEM competitions.
Use lessons learned from bridge-building competitions to design an internal, Culver-based engineering competition, potentially in partnership with the Ron Rubin School for the Entrepreneur, pairing engineering design with a business pitch.
